GOD’S FLOWER GARDEN
By Genevieve Carlton
There’s a garden on Earth where God’s
flowers grow;
They are fed by his love and the sunlight
of his glow.
From every little seed, tiny buds, stalks
and stems
He knows all their names, as He
nurtures them.
There are lilies, sweet Williams,
narcissus, iris and roses;
He tenderly cares how each of
them grow.
In God’s flower garden no flower is ugly
or plain;
They are all beautiful in his
Holy name.
When a flower grows weak and its strength
falls away,
He will remove it from this earth’s mire
and clay.
God oft time picks flowers to make
a bouquet,
But he only wanted one of his
flowers today.
From the distance of Heaven, down to his
Earth’s flower bed,
He whispered to Rosa,
“Go to sleep now,” He said.
With my love I will plant you in a place
where there is no cost
For my son paid the price for you
on the cross.
