DREAM ON MY CHILD

DREAM ON MY CHILD

When someone says it can’t be done,

And the voice is directed at you as one,

As important as the voice may seem,

Don’t ever give up what’s in your dream.

Sculpting a mountain for people to view,

Chipping away at it until you’re through

May take great effort and sacrifice

And require redoing once or even twice.

Life is rewarding to those who try

To grab the brass ring or reach for the sky.

Never, never give up your dream

No matter doubts, or how hard it seems.
