LETTER TO THE PUBLISHER – MARCH 1, 2005

Just a note to let you know how pleased I am with the great article you wrote in Point of View about Bobby Knight. I am pleased and overjoyed that Subway sent the paper to me.

Hartford is my hometown. I not only knew Bobby Knight all my life but we lived and grew up together on Bellevue Street in Hartford. We all knew even as children that Bobby was someone special on and off the basketball court. He was the toast of Hartford for many years. Even today many people remember how great he was on the basketball court. He is often compared to the great ones of today. I think in many ways, he was better!

Mr. Hurst thank you for highlighting this great man. I thank my best friend Robert (Subway) Lewis for sending the Point (of View) to me.
