Arno Maris Gallery offers Black History Month exhibit

The Arno Maris Art Gallery at Westfield State College will celebrate Black History Month with a show, “Anatomy of Beauty: Time, Transformation and Trauma,” by Nigerian-born artist Imo Nse Imeh. It opened Thursday, January 25.

The artist is currently a graduate student at Yale University working on a doctorate in art history. His art features flowing and powerful portraits and figure studies. The exhibit runs through Saturday, February 10.

Gallery hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. The gallery is in Ely Student Center.
