Dear Publisher:

In 1989 I was the first winner in the Fall River Massachusetts Senior Sweetheart Pageant. There were several discriminating moments. I think it would be wonderful to be a part of a committee sponsoring an African American Senior Sweetheart Pageant within our city, state and county.
