It was a short 25 years ago, in the mid 80’s, when Lawrence Satchell began to make his mark into the radio industry on the campus of American International College in Springfield, MA. As the general manager of station WAIC, Larry, with the approval of the station, ventured into the concert promoting of local and regional artists. Soon after, most up and coming artists sought out Larry Satchell to “put them on the map.”

It wasn’t until the mid 90’s that Larnel and Larry found themselves hosting different segments on the same radio station, 105.3 Praise FM, and hosted a show together on WRTC, that they realized they are more than brothers – they are spiritual brothers here to bring their on-air personalities to another level and thereby many opportunities began to present themselves. Together, these “Spiritual Brothers” began to make a permanent mark in the radio industry.

Not only are these brothers known throughout Connecticut but they are also one of the most sought after concert promoters in this nation. Through their national contacts, most of today’s national recording artists have ministered in this area through the promoting efforts of these brothers.

In 2006, Larnel hosted the Bobby Jones Show during the Urban Impact Summit held at the Foxwoods Resort. This show airs on the WORD Network, a national and international circuit television station.

Lawrence Satchell serves as the Assistant Sergeant of Arms for the Gospel Music Workshop of America’s Gospel Announcers Guild. He is also on the board of directors of Lift Every Voice and Sing, which has been responsible for bringing gospel music artists to the Bushnell Park Pavilion in downtown Hartford, CT every year for over the past decade. Additionally, Larry is involved in many other national gospel events and conventions.

Larnel Satchell serves as Sergeant of Arms for the Gospel Music Workshop of America’s Gospel Announcers Guild and he is president of the Connecticut Area of the Capitol Triplex of the Gospel Announcers Guild. He also is involved in the Thomas Dorsey-National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Chorus Convention as the Artist Liaison.
