A SHOULDER TO LEAN ON

A shoulder to lean on

A hand to hold,

Someone to talk to

When days are long,

And nights are cold.

A friend to walk with

On a sunny day,

A loved one to comfort you

When you’ve lost your way.

Life can be wonderful, or

So I’m told,

When you have a shoulder to lean on,

And a hand to hold.
