FUTURE PLANS:
2006-2007
THE PLAN:
Point
of View has every reason to believe that it will be right on target with its
original five year plan by the end of the fifth year. The original plan is to remain a monthly and to
distribute 10,000 copies a month in the 2006 and 15,000 a month in the 2007 for
an annual circulation of 120,000 and 180,000 respectively.
THE STRATEGY:
We
have made some empirical observations that will help us plan adjustments that
will allow us to meet our future goals.
First, we have observed that the demand for our newspaper is expanding
as evidenced by the contacts from many first-time readers and by the number of
people who tell us that they could not locate a copy even though we have more than
200 distribution sites. We have been
able to determine from the comments that we need more distribution sites and
that we can expand the geographical area of distribution. Accordingly, we have specific plans to expand
that you will hear about in detail in one of our future publications.
PROJECTIONS:
By
the end of the original five year plan we will double our distribution sites,
expand our Hartford sites dramatically and move into one other major
geographical area which will give POV the opportunity to meet our circulation
plans.
