SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –  Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) will host an Open House on Wednesday, March 22, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Scibelli Hall (Building 2), 7th Floor.

All high school students and adult learners interested in learning more about the value of an STCC education are invited to attend. Representatives from Admissions, Academics, Athletics, Financial Aid, HiSET and English Language Learner classes, Non-Credit Training and Certifications, and Online Learning will be available to speak with attendees.

“In addition, anyone who brings their official high school transcript(s) or GED or HiSET will be instantly accepted for the fall 2017 semester,” said STCC Dean of Admissions Louisa Davis-Freeman. “Our Spring Open House is a perfect opportunity for prospective students to see how much sense it makes to begin their education at STCC.

“With the fall semester around the corner, many families are struggling to decide how they will afford a four-year college.  At STCC, our mission is to support students as they transform their lives. Our affordability, our extensive variety of career and transfer programs, and our devoted faculty and staff make a college education accessible to everyone in our community,” Davis-Freeman said.

“I encourage all prospective students—whether you’re in high school or a returning adult—to come learn more about how STCC works,” Davis-Freeman said. “Staff will also be available to discuss the new Commonwealth Commitment Program Associate to Bachelor’s pathway which allows students to graduate quickly and save on college costs.”
