SPRINGFIELD, MA– The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts is now accepting applications to award roughly $2 million in scholarships and interest-free loans for local students planning to pursue education at the undergraduate and graduate levels for the 2018-2019 academic year. The online application deadline is March 31, 2019.
Over 135 funds will provide awards considering criteria set by donors, academic merit and financial need. Last year the Community Foundation awarded over $2 million in scholarships and loans to over 700 individuals in Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. For over two decades, we’ve helped thousands of Pioneer Valley students reach their educational goals with scholarships and interest-free loans from over 141 scholarship funds.
Access to these scholarship and loans can be achieved through completing the online application available at www.communityfoundation.org. All supporting materials must be postmarked by March 31, 2019.
